What we needed to solve
Present many organizations and categories without allowing the interface to become dense or difficult to navigate.

Present many organizations and categories without allowing the interface to become dense or difficult to navigate.
A systematic information hierarchy and clear discovery patterns keep the platform useful as content expands.
Logistics directory platform
GWC Directory is a directory platform built for GWC in Qatar that helps visitors find local businesses across a large logistics ecosystem. Xsofty designed and built it as a custom web application with a search-led homepage, a direct entry point for Al Wukair Logistics Park and a login for users.
A directory is only useful if people can find a listing quickly, and this one covers many organizations across many categories. The client's group managing director describes the starting point as a lot of information to organize. The platform had to hold that volume, stay easy to scan as listings grow, and offer more than one way in: a free-text search for any listing, and a shortcut straight to Al Wukair Logistics Park.
The homepage is built around one action. Under the GWC Directory name, a short introduction explains what the directory is for, followed by a single search field with a clear Search button and one shortcut to Al Wukair Logistics Park. Navigation sits behind a menu icon, a Login button sits opposite, and the logos of GWC and the logistics park close the page, so the first screen stays about search.
Xsofty built the directory as a custom web application, with the interface design delivered in the same project, so visitors can search the listings directly and the collection can grow without redesigning the interface. Small usability details, such as a wide search field and one clear action, got the same attention as the larger structure, because people using a directory usually want to find something fast.

There was a lot of information to organise, and Xsofty handled it with care. They made the directory feel structured rather than crowded and paid attention to the small usability details that matter when people are trying to find something quickly. The finished website is clear, practical, and easy to use.
