What is the difference between a SaaS product and a custom web app?
A custom web app usually serves one organization: an internal tool, a client portal, or a workflow. A SaaS product is sold to many customers, so it needs separate accounts, subscriptions, billing, and onboarding that works without your team in the room. We build both, and SaaS work starts with those account and billing decisions.
Has Xsofty built its own SaaS product?
Yes. TrueBooks is Xsofty's own cloud accounting product, available at truebooks.xsofty.com. Running it ourselves means we deal with the product, support, and release questions that come with any live SaaS product.
Can you start with a smaller first version?
Yes. We scope a first release around one core workflow plus the account and billing basics, then add features once real customers are using it.
Can you add subscriptions to an app we already have?
Yes, after a technical review of the current codebase, data model, and hosting. We plan how existing users become customer accounts and plans before changing anything in billing.
