This is an example. Add your name to start your own signature.

Copy signature, then paste into your email app's signature settings: Gmail under Settings, General; Outlook under Settings, Account, Signatures; Apple Mail under Settings, Signatures.

How it works

  1. Add your details

Your name, role and company, the ways to reach you, and links to your profiles. Leave out anything you don't need.

  2. Pick a layout and color

Choose one of three layouts, a typeface and your brand color. The preview changes as you type.

  3. Copy the signature

Copy signature puts the formatted signature on your clipboard. Copy HTML gives you the code for apps that ask for it.

  4. Paste it into your email app

Open your email app's signature settings, paste, and save. Send yourself an email to check it.

Questions people ask

  • How do I add the signature to Gmail?

Click Copy signature. In Gmail, open Settings, choose See all settings, and stay on the General tab. Under Signature, click Create new, name it, paste into the box, then click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

  • How do I add it to Outlook?

In Outlook on the web and the new Outlook for Windows, open Settings, then Account, then Signatures. Create a signature, paste it into the editor and save. In Outlook for Mac, go to Outlook, Settings, Signatures; in classic Outlook for Windows, File, Options, Mail, Signatures.

  • And to Apple Mail?

In Mail on a Mac, open Settings, then Signatures. Choose your account, click the plus button, untick Always match my default message font, paste the signature and close the window.

  • Why does my logo or photo need a web address?

Email apps load signature images from the web, so the image has to be online already: the logo on your website works well (right-click it and copy the image address). Images pasted from your computer are often stripped or blocked when the email arrives. Use an address that starts with https.

  • Will the signature look right on phones?

It is built from simple tables and inline styles, the HTML that email apps display most consistently, and it is narrow enough to read on a phone. Send a test email to yourself and open it on your phone before you rely on it.

  • Is my information stored?

No. The tool runs in your browser, on your device. Nothing you type is sent to Xsofty or saved anywhere, and it is gone when you close the page.
