How it works

  1. Add your details

    Your name, role, company, phone, email and website, then your tagline, logo, photo and social profiles.

  2. Design the card

    Pick a template, a phone or print size, dark or light, your accent color and a typeface. The thumbnails show each template with your details.

  3. Choose what the code does

    Save your contact in one scan, or open your website.

  4. Download and share

    Save the card as an image, the QR code on its own, or a contact file to send by email or WhatsApp. Scan it before you share it.

Questions people ask

  • What happens when someone scans the code?

    Their phone camera offers to add you as a new contact, with your name, company, title, phone, email, website and profiles filled in. Nothing is installed and they need no app. If you choose Opens your website instead, the code opens your site.

  • Can I add my name in Arabic or Urdu?

    Yes. Add your name and title in a second language and they appear under the English on the card, written right to left. They are also saved in the contact's notes.

  • What is the contact file for?

    It is a .vcf file, the standard format for contacts, with your photo included. Send it by email or WhatsApp and the other person can save you with one tap on iPhone or Android, without scanning anything.

  • Can I print the card?

    Choose Print card for a standard 3.5 by 2 inch card at 300 dpi, ready to send to a printer. The phone card size suits sharing on WhatsApp and social media, or as a lock screen people can scan from your phone.

  • Does the code stop working if I change jobs?

    The code holds the details you entered, with no link to a service that could expire, so it keeps working as it is. When your details change, make a new card in a minute.

  • Are my details and photo stored?

    No. The card is drawn by your browser, on your device. Your details, logo and photo are never sent to Xsofty or saved anywhere.
